Decorate in Travels…

Paris Ornament Memories

How often do we take photos on vacation and not look at them for ages?  Why not revisit travel memories every year?  Perhaps around the holidays.

A simple, but great way to do this is to collect an ornament from each of your trips!!  Most gift shops offer a variety of ornaments so you will likely find one to fit your tastes and they also make great souvenirs.

BE CREATIVE!!  Chose items that you love and want to see on your tree.  When you decorate, talk about the stories associated with the find of the ornaments and remember the trip with your family and friends.

You can even find ornaments on a trip to Chicago. This one is a geometric ornament from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Chicago Home.

And, of course, you have to have one from the beach. This one was from the beaches of Hawaii.

And, in case the ornaments are not enough, you can collect other items that remind you of your travels. These sculpted homes, stores and churches are perfect.  Chose different items to display each year!
